how can ex husband take the money from the beneficiary of a life insurance policy?
lyong222 asked:
A lady was the beneficiary of a $15,000 life insurance policy for her son who died in an accident.
Her ex husband has hired a layer to get the insurance company to give him the $2000 she owes him for child support and the $10,000 inerest that has accumulated on the back child support.
So, she thinks sshe’ll only get $3000 out of the $15,000. Can the ex husband succeed in this and the laws of child support let him garnish what the insurance policy was to ay her? This is happening in Florida.
